The Reel (recommendation /Review) Why you should download this vid: This vid just made my morning. It centers around Lorne, or more accurately, Caritas with its "house rules" (no violence, etc.). I'm ordinarily not a lyrics person, but they came through loud and clear here--yay for Christian Kane's enunciation!--and the vidder uses their repetition to great effect in building the humorous effect, which is impressive given the use of events that were not humorous in the original. The cutting, too, is well-paced, adding to the light-hearted effect by juxtapositions (karaoke!) and deftly-hinted interactions (Lorne vs. Angel); and beat-whore that I am, I was charmed by the use of internal motion. Best of all, we have a clever shot of Lindsey with his guitar. But this makes the vid sound dry. It's not! I kept stifling giggles throughout. Go, view, have fun. Buttmonkey Awards House Rules - Loved lorne dancing at the beginning! I’m a huge Kane fan, and Caritas fits this song so well! Great short clip shots to the drum beat. Loved the “Angel” during the break in the beat. What a great fun vid. This was really good, and all the judges enjoyed if a lot. BBm Awards Cec: Loved the fast beat-conscious editing! I liked the way you flashed cityscapes really quickly on the beats! I love the idea of a Caritas video and you did a great job with it! Very fun, and very cute, and very well edited! Nice! Song fit great with clips Kristen: Let me just start my saying that I really love Lorne and was excited to see you do a vid about him and his clubs.
