Danse  Macabre - By Saint Saens.
 Op. 40

This is a tone poem for orchestra, written in 1874 by  composer Camille Saint-Saëns. Starting out  in 1872 as  a song for voice and piano with a French text by the poet Henri Cazalis,  based on  an old French superstition.  In 1874, the composer expanded and reworked the piece into a tone poem, replacing the vocal line with a solo violin.

According to legend, "Death" appears at midnight evach Halloween. He calls forth the dead from their graves to dance  for him while he plays his fiddle represented by a solo violin.   His skeletons dance for him until the rooster crows at dawn, when they must return to their graves until the next year.

On this occasion I have used the music like  a   score  and as  instrumental , there is no 'dialogue' just like the episode.

I loved how well this video worked.  Buffy's scream was well executed, and I loved how you added that.  The storytelling was excellent, and each clip was carefully chosen to help move the story along.  Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!  Well done!

Perfect 10 Awards
Such a great/creepy episode isn't it? Your video did a great job of keeping it this way! I had heard this song in the episode and heard it somewhere else as well. I think it fit perfectly and I loved watching it cause it showed it in order from beginning to end, I loved that when the song got softer you had the Riley and Buffy kiss which in a time of fear was rather romantic. I also liked how you incorporated the sound clip of her screaming, that was absolutely perfect!

I loved this vid. I already had it on my computer from another site. I really enjoyed it. Your clip selection was amazing, to make a 7 minute vid from 1 episode is amazing, and to make a great vid is even more amazing. You really bring the viewer into your vid. I thoroughly enjoyed this.  Great, Great work!

Chosen One Awards
Just looking at your website I knew your videos would be good but this is the best I have seen by you to date!
I’m not a fan of the episode Hush but you managed to pick the ideal music and timed it to perfection. In addition you allowed the viewer to understand the whole episode in just over six minutes as well as the progression of Willow and Tara / Buffy and Riley’s relationship.
